Led by Kitty and Al Tait, from the Orange Bakery, our 'breaducation' journey started. We visited their bakery in Watlington and were inspired by their commitment to the local community, as they are keen to share the benefits of bread making. Inspired by what the pupils experienced on the visit, they came in to school to share their bread making expertise.
Our 'breaducators' have provided pupils with the skills to make dough once a week, which is cooked the next day and shared with the rest of the school to enjoy. Making bread encourages collaboration, creativity and a sense of community.
