The Governing Body are looking for new people to get involved in some exciting new initiatives from September.
Could you give us less than one hour a week of your time?
Due to current governors reaching the end of their term, we need to fill two Parent Governor vacancies in September, and we’d like to get new Governors up to speed quickly.
Governors meet 8 times over the school year, providing accountability for the Headteacher, strategic input to the running of the school and holding financial responsibility.
Parent Governors are an important part of the team, having particular insight on how the school is working for the children.
We’d like to encourage parents, guardians or grandparents to get involved and help make decisions on how our school is run.
If you ‘d like to know more, please talk to our current governors – John Ingram, Sarah Wood, Peter Robinson, David Marcou, Kate Brown, Nick Acaster, James McHardy – they’ll be happy to chat with you about what the role involves.
If you think you can help:
Wishing you a happy and enjoyable summer,
Chair of Governors
